Supervisor of Elections adds four more early voting sites

Orange County Supervisor of Elections (SOE) announced Friday that it is opening four additional early voting sites to accommodate the record early-voting turnout throughout the county.

Valencia College-Winter Park will open as an early voting site Saturday at 8 a.m. to ease the lines at Winter Park Library. SOE spokesperson Christopher Heath told VoxPopuli in an email that signage will direct voters where to go to vote on the college campus, which is across the street from the library "less than 1,700 feet away."

In addition, the SOE is setting up another secure mail ballot drop box across the street from its office at 119 Kaley Street.

The SOE is also negotiating for two additional sites, Heath told VoxPopuli.
