Norine is an award-winning journalist and author with 30-plus years experience as a print and digital media reporter. Norine’s writing has been published in daily newspapers (Orange County Register, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Miami Herald), LGBTQ weeklies, The Village Voice and national magazines, including Redbook, Marie Claire, More, Family Circle, Prevention, Shape and Reader's Digest. She won the 2024 Society for Professional Journalists' Sunshine State Award for General Commentary and Criticism. Her book, co-authored with VoxPopuli Art Director Jessica Ziegler, Science of Parenthood: Thoroughly Unscientific Explanations for Utterly Baffling Parenting Situations won the 2016 Independent Book Publishers Association Gold Benjamin Franklin Award for Parenting/Family. Her essays have been published in several anthologies, including Chicken Soup for the Soul's Be You (2021). She holds a BA from Oberlin College and an MA from New York University. She lives in Winter Garden.
Jessica Ziegler is a long-time UX/UI website designer with a background in online marketing. She has been building websites and helping businesses with their online presence for over 20 years.
Kathryn Brudzinski holds a BA in journalism and a public and professional writing certificate from the University of Central Florida. Her work has been published in the Oviedo Community News and NSM Today, where she also served as assistant news editor. She lives in Orlando with her two cats.
Andrea Charur will graduate with a BA in Journalism and a minor in International Studies from the University of Central Florida in May 2025. While at UCF, Andrea served as the public safety beat reporter and the news editor, specializing in politics and administration, at the student news site The Charge. Her work has also been published in the Orlando Sentinel and The Community Paper. Originally from Miami, Andrea currently lives in Orlando.
Kyra Parrow is a journalist and photographer with a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida. Parrow served as the editor-in-chief for the UCF newspaper The Charge. While a reporter for the newspaper, she covered politics and government with a community-based focus. Her work can also be seen in Time Magazine, Elle and Vox.
Dibya Sarkar is a veteran journalist who has worked for several publications, including Gannett-owned newspapers in New York and The Associated Press in Washington, D.C. He is now a freelance writer and editor in Orlando.
Jeremy Armando Rodriguez played pivotal roles in the election campaigns for Democratic Congressman Maxwell Frost, District 4 Orange County School Board Member Anne Douglas and the re-election of Democratic Congressman Darren Soto. Rodriguez is also on the board of the Contigo Fund, one of Central Florida's largest funders of LGBTQIA+ organizations, where they've helped award more than $4.5 million in grants for grassroots initiatives for equality and justice.
